Tuesday-Read about the Bible story of the Isrealites crossing the Red Sea. Read a book about cougars. Did worksheets. Practiced counting by 5’s, 10’s, 100’s, and 1,000’s. Made cougar paw prints and I set up a treasure hunt with them, and they had to follow the tracks to the prize. Made the Chinese flag with markers. Played Creator (Lego) board game. T1 and H dressed up as catman and catlady. We made chocolate chip cookies for a snack. At dinnertime we made a Chinese recipe: Crab rangoons. They turned out awesome. They took forever to make though.
Wednesday- Cooked pancakes for breakfast. Colored with crayons.
Thursday-Made cards for papaw’s retirement party. Learned about what a carpenter does.
We left Thursday morning to go to Michigan. A came home after the weekend, and the kids and I stayed until today.
A’s doing physics experiments with them every day this week from a kit I picked up while we were gone.
Next week we will be moving on to D.
